How do I cut down on drinking?

If you’re ready to reduce the risks of alcohol and feel better about your health, there are lots of positive changes you can make and ways to reduce the amount you drink.

Keep busy and get moving

There are so many different things to do in and around Salford, you don’t need to be sat around stuck in the same routine day after day. Get up and try something new, and you’ll keep your thoughts away from having a drink.

You could plan an alcohol-free picnic with the family, or arrange a trip to the cinema, the shops or your local park. You could take the dogs out for a walk somewhere new.
