Exercise for young people

About a 1/3 of young people (ages 2-15) are currently overweight. They are much more likely to be overweight and obese as an adult, which will have serious long-term effects on their health.

Salford has loads of opportunities for children to get active and get the regular exercise they need every day. There are activities for everyone, from those just starting nursery to those in high school, during both term-time and school holidays.

Monitor your progress in real time

Technology can be a big help to your exercise and fitness regime, helping you to stay on track and encouraging you to work hard. Monitor your efforts and track your results to see the improvements you’re making.

There are many kinds of wearable tech, find out what works for you.
